Business IntelligenceDeveloper (Tableau/SQL)Location: Hybrid Colorado Springs, CORole OverviewWe’re looking for amotivated, collaborative Data Engineer/BI Developer to support dashboardcreation, data cleanup, and reporting enhancements across multiple businessareas. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment,proactively seeks out work, and enjoys working directly with users to improvedata visibility and decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesDashboard Development:Build and enhance Tableau dashboards based on ad hoc requests or evolving business needsCreate dashboards from new data sources or improve existing ones (e.g., adding filters, updating visuals)Ensure dashboards are scalable and require minimal maintenanceWorkflow & Collaboration:Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) across different areasParticipate in shared Teams chat for ticketing, escalation, and self-assignmentCollaborate with the BI Manager to prioritize backlog items in Azure DevOps based on impact and feasibilitySupport enterprise tools like ServiceNow (subject to change)Data Integration & Maintenance:Assist with remapping pipelines due to mergers or changes in semantic environmentsHelp scale manual processes, especially in FinanceContribute to cleanup efforts in high-demand areas like Credit CardsTools & TechnologiesSQLTableauAzure DevOpsServiceNow (currently used for ticketing)Ideal Candidate ProfileTeam player with a proactive mindset—asks where help is needed rather than waiting for assignmentsComfortable working directly with end users to gather requirements and feedbackStrong communication and collaboration skillsWilling to grow and adapt in a dynamic environmentCultural fit is highly valued—would prefer a junior candidate with strong collaboration skills over a senior candidate lacking themJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colorado Springs, CO.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
