Job Description

About North Cloud The public cloud is rapidly evolving, with businesses investing over $200B annually in cloud technology. As AI accelerates demand for scalable infrastructure, cloud costs are soaring, and most teams still rely on spreadsheets to manage them. At North, we’re building the next-generation cloud spend management platform. We give companies real-time visibility, control, and automation over their cloud finances, so they can grow efficiently, without wasting time or money. Backed by top-tier investors and trusted by global customers like Brave, The New York Public Library, and SumUp, we’re assembling a world-class team to redefine how businesses manage cloud infrastructure. About The Internship North is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Design Intern to support our brand across marketing, sales, web, events, and other customer-facing experiences. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you’ll collaborate with team members across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Engineering. You might help design social media graphics one day, refine a sales presentation the next, and contribute ideas for a product launch, event, or website campaign later in the week. This is a great opportunity for a student who wants hands‑on experience at a fast-moving technology startup. You’ll create real‑world work, receive feedback from experienced team members, and learn how design supports a growing business. What You’ll Do Create engaging digital and print assets for social media, email, advertising campaigns, events, and brand initiatives. Support the development of sales materials, including pitch decks, one‑pagers, case studies, and customer presentations. Translate technical concepts into clear and engaging visual communication. Help organize and maintain brand templates, design files, and shared creative assets. Incorporate feedback and iterate on designs in collaboration with cross‑functional partners. Contribute creative ideas while managing multiple assignments and deadlines. What We’re Looking For Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or a related field. A portfolio featuring relevant academic, freelance, internship, or personal design work. Working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign. A strong foundation in typography, layout, color, visual hierarchy, and composition. Interest in branding, marketing design, presentation design, and digital experiences. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Comfortable receiving feedback and revising work. Curious, dependable, and excited to learn in a fast‑paced startup environment. Able to manage assignments independently while communicating clearly with the team. Based in or near New York City and available to collaborate from our Dumbo, Brooklyn office as part of a hybrid schedule. Nice to Have Experience designing presentation decks or marketing collateral. Familiarity with responsive web design or UX/UI principles. Motion graphics or basic video‑editing experience. Familiarity with After Effects, Canva, Webflow, or other website‑building tools. Interest in B2B technology, cloud infrastructure, AI, or developer‑focused products. Experience creating designs for student organizations, events, publications, or social media. What you’ll gain Hands‑on experience creating design work used by a growing technology company. Exposure to brand, marketing, sales, web, and product design projects. Opportunities to develop portfolio‑ready work across digital and print channels. Direct collaboration with team members across different areas of the business. Regular feedback and mentorship to help strengthen your design skills. Experience working within an evolving brand and design system. Work Setup Hybrid role based in New York City, with an office in Dumbo, Brooklyn. #J-18808-Ljbffr
