Warehouse PositionThe starting wage for this position will be: $18.50/HR + Incentive Pay Full-Time: Various workday schedules Day Shift: Start Time 6:00 AM (Until workload complete) Location: Near I-17 and Thomas Rd.This position is responsible for performing various duties within the warehouse, including picking, staging, loading, repackaging, putting away, or transporting all orders according to company standards.Essential Duties:Reading production labels, customer order, work order, shipping order or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, repacked, disposed, or distributedConveying materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areasSorting and placing items on carts, pallets, shelves, racks, bins or boxes according to desired sequenceEnsuring materials are properly labeledPerforming other duties as assigned to meet business needsQualifications:High school diploma or GED preferredFluency in English; speak, read, and writeThree months or more related experienceElectric Pallet jack and picking experience a plusMust be available to work with the demands of the department which are regular overnight shifts, weekends, and holidaysMust be able to work in various temperature controlled zones ranging from -5 F to ambient temperaturePhysical Demands:Regularly standing and walkingAbility to reach and handle objects, tools, or controlsSitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawlingRegularly lifting and/or moving up to 25 poundsFrequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 poundsOccasionally lifting and/or moving up to 100 poundsCorporate Summary At Shamrock Foods Company, people come first – our associates, our customers, and the families we serve across the nation.
